Groundhogs are also known as woodchucks. These rodents are part of the ground squirrels known as marmots. In our alpaca fiber, he's an adorable little critter carefully created by our expert needle felters in Arequipa, Peru. The groundhog is part of our wildlife collection. We seek to capture the true essence of each animal with special attention to shape, markings, color, and occasionally adding a bit of flare, like a top hat! Due to the handcrafting process, each piece is original with slight variations.
