Mallards are one of the most recognizable ducks in the world. The male birds have special colorful plumage during the spring and summer breeding season that helps them attract females. Their heads and necks are bright green, and at the base of their necks is a white ring. We seek to capture these spectacular creatures in alpaca fiber with special attention to shape, markings, and colors. Our expert needle felters have years of expertise in this craft. Due to the handcrafting process, each piece is original with slight variations. We finish each one with a loop for hanging, or it can sit on your desk or table.
