He is made from 100% animal friendly alpaca fur that is characterized by its thick curls and crimp. He is part of our signature line plush collection. What Is Alpaca Fiber? 

Alpaca was once considered a gift from the gods and the most important relic of Incan history. Alpacas are in the camelid family, sharing the most genetic material with the vicuña. They are one of the four South American camelids. 

The two breeds of alpacas are: the Huacaya and the Suri. The types of fiber harvested from each of these breeds are equally prized for different reasons. Fiber derived from alpacas varies in weight depending on how it is spun, making it ideal for a number of different kinds of products. Compared to sheep’s wool, alpaca fiber is considerably softer, and more durable.

The quality of our bears is top notch from the inside out! We only use alpaca pelts from animals that perish due to natural causes. We treat them with our propriety tanning process that yields the best qulity raw material for super soft, never crinkly alpaca fur plushies. The patterns are meticulously traced, cut, and sewn together by hand. We use a hypoallergenic fill that has just the right amount of give for a perfect hug. We embroider their noses, sew their mouths, and trim their eyes creating beautifully original pieces every time.
